A Liar Cowboy Story for Class 6, 7

Once there lived a young cowboy in a village. Every day, he took his cows to a nearby field for grazing. The boy was very naughty and liked to make fun of the villagers. One day, he thought of playing a trick on them. He cried loudly, “Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the cows!”

Hearing his cries, the villagers rushed to the field with sticks to save him and his cows. But they found no wolf there. The cowboy laughed loudly and said that he had fooled them. The villagers became angry but went back home. After a few days, he played the same trick again.

The villagers again came running to help him. But they found that there was no wolf. They understood that the boy was a liar and decided not to believe him anymore. The cowboy laughed at them and enjoyed his trick.

One evening, a real wolf came and attacked the cows. The frightened cowboy cried, “Wolf! Wolf! Please help me!” But nobody came to help him. The wolf killed several cows and ran away. The cowboy felt very sorry for his lies and learned a valuable lesson.
